Los Angeles native, Graphic designer, Illustrator, Creative Director and Educator. She currently serves as Senior Lecturer at Otis College of Art and Design.

She teaches Graphic Design to students ranging from sophomore to senior level. Frankie has specialized in designing printed materials that range from books, magazines, album packaging to posters and various merchandise. In 2017, she received a Grammy for a Special Edition Boxset for the Golden Record that she worked on while working at LAD Design.

She recently teamed up with her cousin, Tanya Louthan, to make a children’s book called Tails of Moo Cat. Frankie illustrated the story of a kitty named Moo, facing her fears of moving to a new home. Tails of Moo Cat is currently available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and other book retailers nationwide.

2024- present
Raking Light Projects

She has worked with Raking Light Projects and Andrew Fingerhut since Fall of 2024. In that time, we have worked with various clients to create high end artist books for tattoo artists.

2022 - 2024
Silverlake Digital Agency

She worked with Silverlake Digital Agency and director Erin Yasgar from Fall of 2022 to Fall 2024. In that time, we worked with various clients to create digital advertisements. In addition, she developed and implemented the overall design system and assets for a mid-west music festival called Denimfest.

2019 - present
Otis College of Art and Design

She has worked with students ranging from introductory to advanced classes in Graphic Design. She enjoys teaching students skills to excel in professional jobs within their fields. She enjoys watching her students flourish as artists, designers and human beings.

2019 - 2022
Active Cultures

She worked with Active Cultures and program director Laura Fried from September of 2019 to December of 2022. In that time, I worked with Active Cultures in unifying the overall design ecosystem for their programs and program deliverables. While working with Active Cultures, I have focused on a variety of deliverables that have ranged from establishing a digital to print system. These assets have ranged from their ‘Digest’ website, emailed program announcements to special edition artist box sets, printed menus, posters, flyers, publications, recipe cards and signs.

2016 - 2019
LAD Design

Prior to teaching at Otis College Art and Design, she was an integral part of LAD Design. Serving as the associate producer for Grammy award winning Voyager Golden Record 40th Anniversary Edition Boxset. During her career, she has developed visual identity systems, album packaging and book/magazine design for a variety of musicians, educational and cultural institutions such as Berklee College of Music, Otis College of Art and Design, UC San Diego, USC Roski School of Art and Design, Skirball Cultural Center and WeTransfer. 

She was responsible for setting up projects for print production. This included album packages, boxsets, LPs, CDs, posters, books, magazines, pamphlets and brochures. Including generating print schematics, printers descriptions and product comping for our clients. She worked on music projects ranging from the Voyager Golden Record 40th Anniversary Edition boxset, STING, Esperanza Spalding, Silversun Pickups to Lionel Richie. In addition to printed assets, I worked closely with creating digital assets across all social media channels.
